James Beatty is the founder CEO of Enpower Trading. Mr Beatty is an energy trader with over 16 years of industry experience including over 10 years in top-tier commodity trading houses Trafigura Group and Glencore Plc spanning trading, business development and origination with a strong focus on Africa. His career highlights include helping to restore power supply and grid stability to Puerto Rico via structuring the fuel solution for the rapid deployment of 75MW diesel-fired emergency power plants immediately after Hurricane Maria and helping to establish the LPG4SDG7 initiative, aiming to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goal 7, “universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all”, through growing markets for LPG.

Charl Alheit of SolarAfrica Energy has been in the renewable energy industry for the past 8 years, specialising in fund raising both debt and equity into distributed renewable energy projects across Sub-Saharan Africa. With the team at SolarAfrica, he has been successful in achieving a number of industry firsts, growing to become one of the leading platforms for private solar finance in Africa. Mr Alheit has been instrumental in growing the customer base at Enpower Trading, developing customer and generator PPAs and a Joint Operating Agreement with several municipalities.

Nikolai Germann of Enterprise Power Development is an experienced energy trader with over 25 years of work experience at senior management level in the Sub-Saharan African energy sector. He successfully managed the Africa energy trading desk of Addax Trading to achieve strong and sustainable market share and profitability, and conceived, negotiated, structured, managed and executed pioneering energy infrastructure projects in sub-Saharan Africa (refinery, power plant, transmission, terminals, ports and pipelines). Nikolai is a director and board member of Enterprise Power DRC Sàrl (EPDRC), an electricity trading company licensed to supply power to end-users in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in Zambia. In addition, EPDRC is a Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) market participant and is licensed to trade power on the SAPP Day-Ahead market.

Mark Fox is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Signature Investment Holdings, established in 2016 as an Investment Holdings entity focused on South African property and private equity opportunities across various sectors. Under Mark's leadership, the Signature Group has successfully invested in property, renewable energy, telecoms, textiles, wellness, and hospitality. Prior to founding Signature, Mark served for six years at RMB, specializing in Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) for five of those years. In his role as Senior Dealmaker in REIB, he concentrated on complex transactions that fell outside the traditional senior debt framework.

Board Director and corporate strategist with a strong record in business development applied to the energy, agriculture and mining sectors, acquired over 35 years in Southern and Central Africa, with a focus on Zambia and the DRC. Marc-Henri is a founding partner and Director of Entreprise Power DRC Sarl, Entreprise Power Zambia Ltd and of Enpower Trading (Pty) Ltd. Entreprise Power DRC Sarl is an active SAPP Market Participant and is the largest trader operating in the DRC.
